About the PDF
The pattern arrives is a PDF file in A4 and letter size, so make sure to print at 100%. It includes basic instructions, marked skiving areas, folding lines and stitch guides.
The Auster handbag design is a mix of simple and complexity. The body is made from one piece of leather and the built it's pretty straight forward. It also features long tubular handles which gives it a tasteful classy look.
The pattern isn't intended for beginners, although there are detailed instructions for you to learn the how to's and the process, including a guide for the tubular handles, so don't be startled, just follow the instructions.
The Auster is hardwareless, which also gives it is clean look. So all you'll need is the leather, lining material and a cord for the tubular handles.
Leather needed for the project: medium or hard temper for the body plus some lining material which can be soft or sturdy. Thickness should be anywhere from 1.0-1.6mm depending on how you line the body. Total thickness should be around 1.6-2.0mm.
After purchasing the pattern you can use it to sell items at your small business with no limits on quantity.
