The Chaplin bag is a tote and shopper hybrid. It's great for daily use and especially useful for carrying work: docs, tablets and more. The design is simple yet powerful, it's medium sized with enough space and adjustable strap handles - you can carry it in hand or over the shoulder.

The pattern is meant for intermediate or skilled makers, with step by step instructions you can easily follow you the process without needing extremely refined skills.

Leather - you'll need around 3 sqf of medium to hard tempered leather, and a a couple of heavy veg tan for the strap. I recommend using belt blanks which are great for durable and simple handles       (2.2-4mm).

Hardware the Chaplin doesn't need much hardware, which gives it is clean and minimal look. You will need a pair of Chicago screws to match the handle's thickness, i recommend using sized 8 or 10mm.

About the PDF 

The pattern arrives is a PDF file in A4 , letter and A3 sizes, so make sure to print at 100%. It includes basic instructions, marked skiving areas, folding lines and stitch guides.

After purchasing the pattern you can use it to sell items at your small business with no limits on quantity.

The Pattern should not be shared or distributed under any circumstances.
